Fare Share Food Bank

This past year, supporting Oakville Fare Share Food Bank has been a rewarding way to give back to our community and foster a culture of generosity among my clients. In 2024, I was proud to make a financial donation on behalf of my clients to Fare Share, a volunteer-driven organization that currently supports approximately 1,500 households—over 5,000 individuals, including many children—ensuring that no one in our community goes to bed hungry.

Over the years, I have hosted several food drive initiatives, inviting clients to collect non-perishable goods which I picked up and delivered to the food bank on their behalf. These client-led drives have become a meaningful tradition, making it easy for more people to participate and contribute what they can—whether canned goods, pasta, cereal, or essential baby and hygiene products. Together, we’ve seen that every contribution, no matter the size, has a direct and immediate impact on hungry families in Oakville.

The Fare Share Food Bank relies entirely on community support and receives no government funding, making both financial and food donations truly vital to its operation. If you’d like to get involved, learn more, or make your own donation, please visit oakvillefoodbank.com or reach out to join in our next client food drive event. Let’s continue sharing food and hope as a community!
